Mark Womack of Med-Trans Corporation is contracted by local hospitals in transporting patients and does roughly 500 Albert Whitted Airport flights a year.
Mark spoke with our group last week and informed us that during Hurricane Ian, his company transported 67 NICU babies being evacuated from hospitals in the South.
“If it wasn’t for the availability of the Albert Whitted Airport, those transit times would have been extended. Every minute counts with compromised patients.”
