Jack Tunstill has spent 35 years as a flight instructor teaching future pilots.
“Once you take off and you’re in the air as a pilot..it’s hard to describe. I make a living here and I’ve been fighting for this airport for over 30 years. The near 100-year-old airport is critical to the entire Tampa Bay area as a relief site for smaller planes to come to instead of the bigger commercial ones. It’s not home to a bunch of playboys, it’s important to the city of St. Petersburg and it’s training future pilots!”
