The mission of Friends of Albert Whitted Airport is to raise awareness of Albert Whitted Airport as an asset to the City of St. Petersburg; to educate the public about the need for public improvements and preservation of the historic site; to support inclusive community education for current and future generations; and to promote the Airport as a key element of the City’s vibrant downtown waterfront.
